  • Peter was a world class fast bowler and batsman, now preaching God's message.

• Sun 23rd August   ACM - our Annual Celebration meeting and worship Sunday.
  • Our service shall be shorter than normal, the meeting starts at 11am sharp.
  • Members are encouraged to attend and be involved.
• 6th August   Brett and Peter from Acacia Prison Ministries spoke on the importance of being with the prisoners in their time of hardship (not lessening the impact to the victim, but trying to extend Gods Saving Grace and Love for those much in need): listen to them.

Eion was one of the candidates ordained on the 16th May, the service was be held in conjunction with the Churches of Christ Council meeting at Noranda.  Thanks to all those who came and supported him and yes, many left after the service which was before the council meeting!

What a week-end!  Pictures in the Park was a great success, God certainly answers prayer.  Showers, wind and then a beautiful evening - why did we even worry, a big thank you to all who helped.  It was so exciting to see so many from the community join us. A few people asked, 'Where exactly is Noranda Church?'.  Let's put Noranda on the map folks!

• Sat 4th April 2009    Tony Anthony - 3 times Kung Fu World Champion

Tony will be sharing with us on Saturday 4th April. He is an international speaker and author of Taming the Tiger.

Taming the Tiger relates Tony’s astounding life story, beginning when he is sent to China as a four year old to become a Kung Fu disciple, where he spends eight hours a day following a cruel and brutal training regime, overseen by the Grand Master, his grandfather.

Quickly developing into a Kung Fu expert, Tony becomes an elite bodyguard, protecting some of the world’s most powerful people whilst also winning the world Kung Fu championships three times. Personal tragedy, however, alters Tony’s sense of extreme discipline and he begins to use his skills for illegal means, becoming embroiled in a world of violence, destruction and death.

Eventually incarcerated in the notorious Nicosia Central Prison in Cyprus, Tony hits rock bottom. Through the visits of a stranger, his life is changed forever!
